Film Festival Branding

BRIEF: Create an identity for British Film Institute's Judd Apatow Film Festival.

IDEATION: Judd Apatow is known for creating offbeat comedies that feature unconventional protagonists. I wanted to show this through the film festival branding with the concept, "Rise of the Underdog."

CREATIVE RESPONSE: I chose to illustrate for the festival's branding to bring across the playful side of Apatow's films. The doodles reflect the authenticity and realness of his underdog characters. I chose a pink and blue color palette to reflect the contrast of raunchy and heartfelt tones in Apatow's films.
